Editors' responsibilities
Publication decisions
The editor has the responsibility of choosing which papers to publish in the journal. The editor will assess each manuscript based on its importance, originality, clarity, validity, and relevance to the journal's scope when making this decision. The editor will not discriminate against authors based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. In addition, the editor will make sure that all manuscripts comply with the legal requirements for libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Confidentiality
The editor and any editorial staff involved will keep the review process confidential by not sharing information about a submitted manuscript with anyone except for the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as necessary.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Obtaining written consent from the author is necessary for the editor and members of the editorial board to use any unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted paper for their own research purposes.
